Gwar applauds Etor's work rate

Experienced Niger Tornadoes' forward, Sibi Gwar, has applauded the performance of his teammate, Daniel Etor.

Tornadoes gaffer, Justin Tenger, has changed his formation since the departure of former top scorer, Azuka Ebinum, to Warri Wolves, and the duo now play crucial roles in team's attack.

Gwar plays as a lone striker, while Etor, who has been invited twice to the Super Eagles camp by national team manager, Stephen Keshi, has moved from his wide positions on either side of the wings to a second striker behind Gwar.

Interestingly, the duo of Gwar and Etor joined Tornadoes during the mid-season break last term from Kwara United and Bukola Babes (now ABS), respectively.

"Etor is a good player and I've always charged hime to continue to work harder. He has all it takes to be a great player," the experienced Gwar, who had a stint at defunct Ebonyi Angels and former Nigerian and African champions, Enyimba, told SuperSport.com.

Etor stated that he's not a stranger to the new formation of the team.

"I've played behind the top striker before, so it's okay with me. My ambition is to ensure that Tornadoes get the right result always," he said to SuperSport.com.

The duo will be on duty when Tornadoes face Kwara United in Abuja.
